We are all for third-party sellers. These are companies or people who buy our books to resell them to the public themselves. YAY! Right? If it helps sell our product, then why not?
The only problem we have run into with third-party sellers is that sometimes the books are inflated in price, as though they are a collector’s item.
Our books are usually priced around $5.99-$7.99 for an e-book (and believe us, we do believe you get value for your money worth with a 80-150K book) and around $12.95-14.95 for a paperback. It’s usually the paperbacks that they hyper-inflate. We found one of our books priced out at over $300. While we appreciate the idea that it’s worth that, it would have to be in gold for them to get that price. It does not hurt the retailer whose site it is put up on as they still get their cut (ie: Amazon):
Even when you DELETE a book off of the sites, these third-party retail sales can remain indefinitely. If you don’t know if it’s a third party, look for this:
We hope this clarify’s any confusion as to where our books are sold, how they are sold, and look for us selling them directly from our websites. If it’s sold directly from our websites, we cut out the middle-man and our authors make more! Let’s have happy authors whose writings we so adore keep writing!
Shadoe Publishing, LLC thanks all of you for buying our author’s books!
